Zoey’s Adventures Books Take Readers on Brightly Colored, Fun-Filled Adventures and Provide Valuable Lessons for Little Ones and Grown-Ups

A Portion of Book Sales Benefit Animal Charitable Organizations

Tampa, FL (February 23, 2022) – The hit first installment in the Zoey’s Adventures children’s book series - “Zoey’s Adventures to the Ice Cream Shop” written by local author Ilene Lieber - announces the recipient for a portion of proceeds this year: Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center in Madeira Beach, Florida.  Since its debut in September 2020, Zoey’s Adventures Books donates a portion of book sales to different animal charitable organizations. 

“I am elated to support Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center this year,” says Author Ilene Lieber.  “I had such a wonderful experience when I visited the Center.  It’s such a special, unique place where you can really get up close with many unique animals, and the staff is amazing, incredibly knowledgeable and caring with all of the animals.  I truly learned a lot and had a very memorable experience, and I hope to enlighten and encourage many more people in the community to experience the Center through our partnership this year.”

The mission of the Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center and Rescue is to provide humane, professional care for pet surrenders and orphaned native wildlife that cannot be safely returned to the wild.  The Center is home to over 250 animals including lizards, small mammals, amphibians, turtles and tortoises, fresh and saltwater marine life, alligators and more.   The Center’s focus is conservation and education to the public about the natural history, importance and ways to coexist with the rich diversity of wildlife in the world.

In “Zoey's Adventures to the Ice Cream Shop”, the hit first story in the Zoey’s Adventures children’s book series, Zoey eagerly anticipates her visit to the Super Awesome Ice Cream Shop on National Ice Cream Day.  Children and parents everywhere have been raving about the beautiful, brightly colored, fun-filled adventure of the adorable, lovable, quirky Golden Retriever rescue pup Zoey.  The super sweet tale also provides a valuable lesson for both little ones and grown-ups about patience and good things come to those who wait.
