                                        FREE NARCAN DISTRIBUTION EVENT

                                             Empower Yourself to Save a Life!

St. Petersburg, FL – On Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., WestCare GulfCoast-FL is hosting its inaugural Free Drive-Thru Narcan Distribution Event in recognition of National Save a Life Day and National Recovery Month. The event will take place at WestCare, 1735 Dr. MLK JR. Street South, St. Petersburg. This initiative is in collaboration with ISAVEFL through the Department of Children and Families.

Participants can remain in their vehicles while receiving a lifesaving Narcan treatment kit, along with comprehensive instructions on how to administer Narcan effectively. Vehicles should enter the driveway on the Dr. MLK Jr. Street South side of the building.

WestCare GulfCoast-FL is a key member of the national WestCare network, a nonprofit dedicated to behavioral health and human services. The organization focuses on mental health and wellness, treatment and rehabilitation, education and prevention, emergency support, housing, and veteran services.
