The Pirate Candy Shop Celebrates Grand Opening in Downtown St. Petersburg
The Pirate Candy Shop is excited to announce the successful grand opening of its newest location in downtown St. Petersburg, held this past Sunday. Following the success of its Hyde Park Village location in Tampa, the family-owned business is bringing an authentic Scandinavian candy experience to the Sunshine City.
Located in the heart of downtown St. Pete, The Pirate Candy Shop offers more than 100 flavors of authentic Swedish candy through its traditional pick-and-mix candy wall. Guests can also discover popular treats including Dubai chocolate, Squashies, wax candy, Scandinavian beverages, and a carefully curated selection of imported sweets from Sweden.
The store is especially proud to offer what is believed to be Florida’s largest selection of authentic Swedish salty licorice, giving adventurous candy lovers the opportunity to experience one of Scandinavia’s most iconic confections.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome from the St. Petersburg community,” said owners Adam and Sol. “Our grand opening exceeded our expectations, and we’re excited to become part of such a vibrant downtown while introducing more people to authentic Swedish candy and Scandinavian treats.”
The Pirate Candy Shop welcomes residents and visitors alike to explore its unique selection of imported candy, discover new favorites, and experience the Swedish tradition of pick-and-mix candy.
