St. Petersburg Hospitality Leaders Invited to “Saving Summer” Chef’s Circle Forum

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Chef’s Circle Forum on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, bringing together restaurant, café, bar owners and hospitality leaders for a collaborative conversation focused on navigating the challenges facing the industry this summer.

Centered around the theme “Saving Summer,” the three-hour forum will create space for hospitality professionals to openly discuss current industry pressures, explore resources and opportunities, and work toward solutions, advocacy efforts, and actionable strategies for the months ahead.

“Now more than ever, our Chamber is bringing together those who care for and create our hospitality and visitor experience,” said Chris Steinocher, President and CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a critical part of our economy that has faced strong economic headwinds for the past few summers.”

St. Petersburg’s restaurants, cafés, and bars play a major role in the city’s culture, tourism, and local economy, while continuing to navigate rising operational costs, workforce challenges, increasing competition, and historically slower summer revenue periods.

The forum will focus on:
• Identifying the current challenges impacting hospitality businesses
• Exploring available opportunities, partnerships, and resources
• Developing collaborative strategies, advocacy priorities, and solutions

The forum will be led by Roger Curlin, Director of Business Growth & Engagement for the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Our amazing restaurants, cafés, and bars help create the culinary culture that makes St. Pete special,” said Curlin. “This industry is under significant stress from multiple directions, and the Chamber is facilitating this program to help identify challenges and curate solutions. Every hospitality owner and manager is invited to attend this free program on June 1.”

Attendance is limited to restaurant, café, and bar owners, managers, and industry leaders. Both Chamber members and non-members are welcome to attend. Seats are limited, so sign up soon. Registration is required.
