St. Pete Chamber Hosts a Night of Celebration & Resiliency at the 2024 Good 'Burger Awards

St. Petersburg, FL – November 14, 2024 – The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Good 'Burger Awards event last night at the Floridian Social Club, bringing together local businesses, community leaders, and residents for an unforgettable evening of celebration, recognition, and camaraderie. 

Presented by the Bank of Tampa and Compass Land & Title, the event honored the best of St. Pete, highlighting businesses and individuals who make the city an extraordinary place to live, work, and play.

This year, the Good 'Burger Awards embraced a festive new format. The lively gathering focused on celebrating community spirit with live music, networking, and a special recognition of local heroes who played a pivotal role in hurricane recovery efforts following the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

“We are so proud of our community and the resilience shown over the past year,” said Chris Steinocher, President & CEO of the St. Pete Chamber. “This year’s Good 'Burger Awards weren’t just about winners; they were about everyone who makes St. Pete shine, from our small businesses to our hurricane heroes.”

While the awards ceremony itself was condensed this year, nominees were recognized with an award made by the Morean Glass Studio, and given special VIP bags from Visit St. Pete Clearwater.

Attendees enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with live music by Radio Silent, food and drinks from a variety of local vendors including St. Petersburg Distillery, The Hangar, 3 Daughters Brewing, Small Batch Creamery and many more. For those needing some stress relief, SPCA Tampa Bay even brought in adoptable puppies for attendees to hold and play with.

The celebration also served as a fundraiser to help the St. Pete Chamber build back their downtown office which was devastated during recent storms. "A Chamber of Commerce works best with a physical representation," Steinocher said. "We are a community, and a community functions best when they can see each other." 

The Good 'Burger Awards remain a cornerstone event for the Chamber, showcasing the heart and soul of St. Pete's dynamic business and cultural community.
