St. Pete Chamber Announces New Theme for Good 'Burger Party Honoring Resiliency and All Nominated Businesses
St. Petersburg, FL – October 30, 2024 – The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced a shift in programming for this year's Good 'Burger event.
Now in it’s 12th year, the 2024 Good ‘Burger Awards will focus on honoring the individuals and organizations that went above and beyond to support the community during recent storms.
Additionally, any businesses who were nominated in a category will automatically win an award and all first responders are invited to attend at no charge.
“After what our community just went through, I don’t know how anyone could vote for just one winner in each category, so this year we’re all Good ‘Burgers,” said Chris Steinocher, President & CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
“The hurricanes tested our strength, but the way our neighbors, businesses, and organizations came together is something we need to recognize,” Steinocher said. “So join us on November 13 at the Floridian. We’re going to celebrate our resiliency together with music, food, drinks, and a good time.”
The annual event serves as the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year, with this Good ‘Burger carrying even deeper significance.
“During the recent back-to-back storms, our Chamber offices suffered severe flooding and damage, causing staff to relocate off site which has impacted our ability to serve,” Chris Steinocher said. “It is a fundraiser for our Chamber of Commerce because I want to get back in business. We need to get back out and help our members.”
The “We’re All Good ‘Burgers” party will be held at The Floridian on Wednesday, November 13, and tickets are now available at stpete.com/goodburger2024. Come together to honor our community's heroes and enjoy an evening of music, fun, and celebration.
