St. Petersburg, FL (December 6, 2022) - You are invited to the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance’s ninth annual MUSE Awards on March 3, 2023 at 7pm – 10pm at the Morean Center for Clay!

MUSE celebrates the diversity of all the arts and culture in St. Petersburg and pays tribute to the remarkable talent and variety that can be discovered around every corner of our amazing city.

What has become the most talked about art party of the season is where you will enjoy spontaneous performances and vignettes featuring the best in local performing and visual arts; gourmet delicacies and cool libations; interactive art opportunities and, of course, the celebration of six outstanding 2023 MUSE award winners. MC extraordinaires Paul Wilborn and Eugenie Bondurant also return to MUSE! Tickets go on sale in January 2023!

Here are the MUSE categories.

● MUSE AMBASSADOR OF THE ARTS AWARD - Recognizes a beloved St. Petersburg Artist (from any discipline) who is a stellar representative of our “City of the Arts” to the world.

● MUSE LITERARY ARTS AWARD - Recognizes an artist or organization that has achieved excellence in the written word in fiction or nonfiction, journalism, poetry or prose, print or digital formats.

● MUSE PERFORMING ARTS AWARD - Recognizes an artist or organization that has achieved excellence in the performance art field to include music, dance, theater and/or interdisciplinary which is presented to an audience.

● MUSE VISUAL ARTS AWARD - Recognizes an artist or organization that has achieved excellence in the visual arts which include ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, glass-blowing, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking and media arts.

● MUSE PATRON OF THE ARTS AWARD - Recognizes an individual or couple who, with their time and treasure, generously supports organizations and/or individuals that work in or concern the arts.

● MUSE ART AND TECHNOLOGY AWARD - Recognizes an artist or organization that has achieved excellence in the field of Arts and Technology which includes but not limited to digital media, integrative technologies, and immersive audience experiences.
