Rep. Castor to Rally for Small Businesses at Start of Holiday Shopping Season

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Nearly three-quarters of shoppers are planning to shop at a small business this holiday season, according to recent data, and U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14) will bring together several local independent businesses in St. Petersburg to highlight their holiday offerings in advance of Small Business Saturday. Rep. Castor will be joined by participants for a media availability on Tuesday, November 21, at 10 A.M. to encourage neighbors to shop small this holiday season. The media availability will be held at The Merchant, a purveyor of local goods, offering items from over 80 Florida artisans and craftspeople.
