“Paddy Fest St. Pete” is Back with Two Days of Family Fun and Festivities in Williams Park Downtown St. Petersburg Irish Festival to Return March 16th & 17th with Irish Music, Pipe Bands, Irish Dancers, Bounce Houses, an Obstacle Course, 40+ Food and Market Vendors, and More
Tampa Bay, FLA (February 1st, 2024) – This March, Paddy Fest St. Pete is returning with two full days of Irish food, drinks, music, and family fun festivities to Williams Park on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th, 2024. Entry is free.
From 12pm - 9pm each day, the family-friendly weekend festival will feature live entertainment from popular Irish groups including Dunedin Pipe Band, The Gilleoghan Irish Step Dancers, and local favorites Drunken Shrubbery, Chad McDonald and Sean Patrick Walsh. Famous local food trucks like Slammer Shop, LaStrada Pizza, Galvin’s Goodies, WichPress, Pamz Pizza Conez, and Mini Mouthful Donuts are returning to feed the green clad masses, and full liquor bars with plenty of Guinness and Tullamore DEW Irish Whiskey will be scattered throughout the park.
The new and expanded Kids’ Zone, sponsored by Modern Shore Insurance, will feature bounce houses, giant slides, lawn games, a 90 ft obstacle course, face painting and more. The area will also have visits from popular Tampa Bay mascots, including the Tampa Bay Rays’ Raymond and Pete the Pelican from the Tampa Bay Rowdies, as both local franchises have returned to be a part of the amazing event.
Also coming back for twice the fun on the weekend-long extravaganza is the Celtic Games exhibition with an expanded show featuring the Foundation of Scottish Athletes. Two full days of events will be hosted for both pros and amateurs alike. The FSA will be performing several Scottish Highland Games events including the Braemar, the weight over bar, the sheaf toss, and famed caber toss. Amateurs can sign up and try to see if they can hack it in the 7500 sq ft lawn space along 3rd St N.

A large Irish food tent featuring corned beef and cabbage and other traditional St Patrick’s Day favorites will be put on by the organizers in partnership with expert event caterers Fresh Factory.
BreakThru beverage distributors will be leading the way with Irish whiskey tastings featuring Tullamore DEW and plenty of cocktails from Stolichnaya Vodka for all adults over 21 to enjoy at the massive retractable 2-story party deck bar overlooking the stage and entire festival.
Dozens of local vendors will be joining in on all the festive fun with many returning vendors from the 2023 inaugural festival showcasing their products. A featured “Irish Village” will raffle off items for the benefit of the Suncoast Irish & Gaelic Heritage foundation as well as the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
