ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (July 25, 2022) – The city has partnered with Platinum Media to publish the first-ever St. Pete Pier™ Magazine, showcasing the magnificent new Pier and the many more exciting reasons St. Pete has become a popular destination for residents and tourists. Filled with articles targeting full-time and seasonal residents, as well as the estimated 2.5 million visitors who spend time at the Pier annually, the new publication will be a beautiful pictorial keepsake and a handy reference guide.

Sharon Van Rite, CEO and publisher of Platinum Media and her team published the popular Vinoy Magazine for 27 years. Reflecting the same format, the St. Pete Pier™ Magazine will feature articles from historians and local celebrities about the Pier's evolution, profiles on philanthropists and other St. Pete business leaders who contributed, and fun facts about the personalities that make the Pier so special today. A calendar of events will highlight not only Pier happenings, but also popular downtown and waterfront activities year-round. Photographs will capture the beauty and fun the Pier brings to downtown.

The St. Pete Pier™ Magazine, published annually, will be distributed free through area hotels, inns, museums, restaurants, and various downtown merchants. Visitors will be encouraged to take the magazine with them on their sightseeing and shopping excursions and ultimately to their homes to share with family and friends.
