St. Petersburg, FL - Mi Gente Mi Pueblo is pleased to announce its third Annual MOVIDA 2022. The vibrant events will be held throughout Hispanic Heritage month of celebration from September 15th through October 15th throughout the year and beyond with the keystone event MOVIDA 2022 taking place Friday, October 7th to Sunday, October 9th. Mi Gente Mi Pueblo will host a wide variety of engaging and creative activities that will amplify our Latinx narrative, healing, and advocacy. Our ability to organize, grow and engage the community has been made available at no cost due to the support of our first funder, the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg. Mi Gente, Mi Pueblo’s purpose is to deepen, amplify, co-create, and share the emergent Latinx narrative in our area through dialogue, network building and engagement of the creative arts to serve the goals of our community in three ways - listen, engage, and build. We want to be the change we want to see in our community. By making Latinx visible, unified with a sense of belonging, thriving through our cultural narratives, healing with health practices, we accelerate equity through advocacy.
