Dan Plante has opened FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers – St Petersburg at Lighthouse Point. His new physical therapy next to the Lighthouse on Park St. and Tyrone Blvd. in Saint Petersburg.
Saint Petersburg, Forida — FYZICAL - Lighthouse Pointe is officially open and seeing patients! Dan Plante has opened his doors to the public on March 6, 2023 as the newest FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers’ Clinic at 4020 Park St. North, Suite 101 Saint Petersburg, Florida 33709.
Offering a holistic approach to wellness, FYZICAL not only helps clients recover from injuries and surgeries but also helps them achieve better overall health and wellness. With its Balance Therapy Program, FYZICAL is equipped with NASA-developed technology to help treat the vast and complex range of issues that can cause balance disorders.

Born in the Northeast and raised in St.Petersburg, Dan is a long-time resident of 45 years. Having been an athlete as a youth and into his early adult years, Dan understands that wellness and fitness played an important role in his personal and professional life. This has further shaped his passion for helping others improve their wellness and fitness levels overall. While attending the University of Florida, injuries became the catalyst for a shift in education to a focus in athletics and Sports Medicine. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences, Dan went on to become an Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Baltimore Orioles and worked with the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays for 6 years rehabilitating and conditioning athletes to achieve a high level of success on and off the field.
Dan migrated into the Fitness industry following the birth of his first child as a personal trainer and was fortunate enough to experience a speedy path to success in the industry. In addition to providing Rehabilitation and Conditioning for many professional athletes in the Tampa Bay area in several sports, Dan has also been the Director of Fitness for Orangetheory Fitness among other high-level positions for well-known organizations and has directly and indirectly, positively impacted and helped tens of thousands of people improve their mobility, fitness levels and more importantly, their activities of daily living! Having held many roles and learning the business in detail, Dan felt it was time to combine his passion for helping others and his knowledge of the business to open his first FYZICAL location to continue the trend of positively impacting the lives of residents in the community.
Saint Pertersburg’s new FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers’ Clinic, FYZICAL - Lighthouse Pointe offers a wide variety of services designed to address a broad range of diagnoses, conditions and concerns, including dizziness, balance and neurologic issues. The center also offers an orthopedic rehabilitation program that helps patients reduce and reverse orthopedic pain or immobility.
