Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2026 selects Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center for its Community Project

Continuing the strong tradition of community service, Leadership St. Pete's Class of 2026 will improve outdoor activity areas and beautify the Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center as part of its future legacy.

St. Petersburg, FL - The Leadership St. Pete® (LSP) Class of 2026 is proud to announce the Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center (LANFC) as the beneficiary of its Community Project. This year’s project will upgrade the community and family center’s grounds, including beautifying the playground area, replacing the existing deck area, front entrance landscaping, and freshening up existing storage buildings.

Located in north central St. Petersburg, LANFC was founded in 2001 and serves families in the community by providing several services. LANFC offers programming for youth, language classes for those whose English is a second language, and operates a food pantry at the location.

In total, three areas of the family center’s grounds are in scope for redevelopment to provide more room for center attendees to pursue outdoor activities and enhance the location as a gathering venue for the greater community.

The LSP Class of 2026 will raise donations and host fundraising events, culminating in a hands-on day of service to complete the project in May 2026. The revitalized Lealman and Asian Neighborhood Family Center will be a place for youth and community members to learn, grow, and thrive, ensuring a lasting impact on our community.
