“As the chair of this year's class and on behalf of the 27-member Planning Committee, I am honored to introduce the Leadership St. Pete Class of 2025. This year's class is a diverse group of 39 business and community leaders dedicated to the ongoing success of St. Petersburg. They are committed to understanding our community's challenges and fostering equitable relationships to drive meaningful change," said Class Chair Jenna Stock Wunsch (LSP ’21), Raymond James. "As we celebrate 55 years of LSP, I am confident that the Class of 2025 will uphold LSP’s legacy and make significant contributions to the future of our vibrant city.”
As part of an ongoing commitment to continuous innovation, LSP recently refreshed the program’s signature logo, and unveiled a special 55-year anniversary edition. Ahead of the new class, LSP also announced that the program will now fall under the umbrella of the Bay Area Chamber Foundation. Designed to support the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce's programs of work, the Bay Area Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that allows the Chamber to reach further into the community to advocate for the vitality of all. This move gives program sponsors and donor organizations more tax deduction options depending on what’s right for their business.
The Class of 2025 was announced for the first time at an Orientation Dinner held at The Vinoy St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club on December 11. The class will formally commence with an Opening Retreat at Saddlebrook Golf Resort on January 10-11 followed by nine educational seminars and two additional leadership retreats. The class will also engage in their Community Project, a civic-engagement, physical facility improvement project through the duration of their LSP experience. This year’s patron sponsors are Baycare’s St. Anthony’s Hospital, Duke Energy, Eckerd College Leadership Development Institute, Power Design, Raymond James, and Sabal Trust.
