KAHWA COFFEE and ST PETE ART ALLIANCE PARTNER ON ART COFFEE CANS

Chad Mize to be first in a series of cans launching November 2nd

St. Petersburg, FLORIDA (October 31, 2022)- The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance (SPAA), along with its community partner, Kahwa Coffee, are delighted to announce acollaboration that will support the building of the St. Petersburg Arts Endowment through the sale of art-wrapped coffee canisters at every Kahwa for preorder online and in store beginning on November 2, 2022. On November 8th, cans will be available in all Kahwa locations.


These canisters are extraordinary since they will all be wrapped with local art, beginning with Chad Mize, a St. Pete favorite and loaded with their Signature SiroccoBlend. Chad Mize is a multimedia artist, designer and muralist residing in St. Petersburg, Florida. With a love for past and contemporary culture, he takes a humorous, tongue-in-cheek approach to his designs, which include playful doodles, colorful patterns, political art, and graphics with text. Mize’s work is held in numerous private and corporate collections nationally and internationally.

 

SPAA and Kahwa Coffee will launch this collaboration at a special VIP event on Wednesday November 2nd from 5-7 PM at Kahwa North St Petersburg, locatedat 204 2nd Avenue South. Artist Chad Mize will be on hand for meet and greets. Cans will be available for preorder at the event and available for pickup on November 8th. The business community and the public are invited to support the St. Pete Arts Endowment by pre-purchasing these limited edition canisters online or in stores on November 2nd at https://kahwacoffee.com/products/artcoffeecan.100% of the net proceeds benefit the SPAA.
