Nearly 3 million people in the United States have Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)? Afib is an irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia as defined by the American Heart Association (AHA). AHA says afib can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. Once you learn you have it, there are treatment options.
