HCA Florida Northside Hospital hosts Heart Healthy Lunch and Learn on Heart Valve Awareness Day

(February 15, 2024) – HCA Florida Northside Hospital is excited to bring timely health topics to our community, allowing participants to meet medical experts, during a lunch and learn format. HCA Florida Northside Hospital Interventional Cardiologist Solomon Seifu, M.D. will present on Heart Valve Awareness on Thursday, February 22nd from noon to 1 p.m. as part of the hospital’s Heart Month celebrations. Recognized every February 22 during American Heart Month, Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day is an annual day dedicated to raising awareness about heart valve disease — its risk factors, symptoms, detection, and treatment — to reduce the burden of the disease.
More than 5 million Americans are diagnosed with heart valve disease each year. On what has been named Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day, learn the signs and symptoms of heart valve disease. The presentation will be held at HCA Florida Northside Hospital, Medical Office Plaza 2nd floor auditorium 6006 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, on Thursday, February 22, 12-1 p.m.
