Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside Relaunches "Habicast" as Vodcast on RHStv, Sharing Stories of Homeownership and Hope
The reimagined series offers an inside look at Habitat's mission, milestones and the families behind the homes.
ST. PETERSBURG, July 2026, Fla. — After a three-year hiatus, Habicast is back; this time as a vodcast, bringing viewers and listeners closer than ever to the people, projects and purpose behind Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside.
Hosted by Mike Sutton, President & CEO, and Morgan Brochetti Mandelker, Chief External Relations Officer, the relaunched Habicast offers behind-the-scenes conversations about Habitat's work across the region, celebrating the milestones, partnerships and homeowner journeys that make affordable homeownership possible.
Each episode features updates on major organizational initiatives, signature events like the CEO Build and annual gala, new community developments and inspiring homeowner stories that demonstrate how Habitat builds far more than houses, it builds stability, opportunity and stronger communities.
“We are thrilled to relaunch Habicast and create a new way for our community to connect with the mission, the people and the stories that drive Habitat’s work every day,” said Sutton. “Partnering with RHStv allows us to expand our reach through its established streaming platform, making it easier than ever for viewers and listeners to engage with Habitat’s impact across our region.”
The new vodcast format provides audiences with a visual experience while maintaining the authentic conversations that made the original podcast a favorite among Habitat supporters. Episodes feature Habitat staff, homeowners, volunteers, corporate partners, community leaders and special guests, offering unique perspectives on the organization's mission and impact.
“Habicast gives us an exciting opportunity to bring our audience even closer to the heart of Habitat’s mission,” said Mandelker. “Through our partnership with RHStv and its streaming platform, we’re able to expand how and where people engage with Habitat’s story—whether they’re longtime supporters, future volunteers or families interested in learning more about affordable homeownership.”
The relaunch reflects Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside's continued commitment to engaging supporters through meaningful storytelling while expanding the ways the organization connects with volunteers, donors, partners and prospective homeowners.
Premiering July 9 at 9 a.m., new episodes of Habicast will stream exclusively on RHStv, the free streaming platform available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, iPhone, iPad, Android mobile devices and any web browser. About Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside
Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity has served over 1,000 homeowner partners since 1985. The affiliate serves Pinellas, West Pasco, and Hernando Counties. Volunteers and future homeowners construct the homes, which are sold and financed with a zero-interest loan. Habitat homeowner candidates earn 30 to 80 percent of the area median income. Candidates must demonstrate the need for adequate shelter; the ability to pay back a zero-interest loan and the willingness to partner with Habitat to complete a robust homebuyer education curriculum and invest 350 to 450 “sweat equity” hours. Mortgage monies are used to build even more homes, making each donation to Habitat a perpetual legacy to the community. Habitat believes that homeownership contributes to family stability, leading, in turn, to community stability. For more information, call (727) 536-4755 or visit www.habitattbg.org.
