Goodyear Rubber Products, Inc. celebrates 75 years in business AND announces opening of new Corporate Headquarters 

St. Petersburg, Florida – Goodyear Rubber Products, Inc., an industrial rubber products distributor headquartered in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida for 75 years, has proudly announced they will open their new corporate headquarters on February 13th in Clearwater Florida, approximately 10 miles north of their existing facilities. The new Corporate headquarters will be located at 11301 47th Street North, Clearwater Florida 33762. 

As the new Clearwater Headquarters and showroom open, their current Clearwater ParkerStore located blocks away on 49th Street, will close permanently. Within weeks, a new St. Petersburg ParkerStore will be opened (scheduled for March 1st opening) within a block of their old headquarters on Central Avenue. This new store will feature dedicated customer parking, something that is hard to find in downtown St. Petersburg. Current headquarters at 1912 Central Avenue St. Petersburg, home to Goodyear Rubber Products, Inc. for many decades, will close permanently on February 28th . 

Goodyear Rubber Products opened for business on February 10th, 1948 on Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg near the current headquarters. Founded by Brooklyn NY transplants, Murray and Jackie Jacobs, the company is owned and operated by their son, Robert "Bob" Jacobs, with a strong commitment to maintaining their high standards of integrity and loyalty to customers, vendors and employees alike. 

Goodyear Rubber Products, Inc. will continue to have 6 locations on the West Coast of Florida including the new primary Clearwater location and 5 ParkerStores in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Bradenton, Ft. Myers and Naples. According to company General Manager & V.P., Eric Von Kaenel, the company will continue growing in the future by adding additional branches and new product lines. Currently, the company offers Industrial and Hydraulic hose and Couplings, Conveyor and Power Transmission Belts, Sheet Rubber and Fluid Sealing products including Expansion Joints along with Rubber Dock Fenders, Floor Matting and Protective Clothing.
