Citizen Advisory Committee - four vacancies. The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) advises the St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Agency on the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Plan and any amendments thereto as well as other issues and policies pertaining to the CRA.

City Beautiful Commission - five vacancies. The City Beautiful Commission's initiative is to enhance and safeguard the beauty of our natural resources and city landscapes, thereby enriching the quality of life for our community. Members have the right and responsibility to actively participate in the decision-making process of the Commission.

Civilian Police Review Committee - one vacancy. The Civilian Police Review Committee (CPRC) is a volunteer advisory body whose purpose is to review citizen-generated complaint cases and cases that have received a high level of community interest, which have been filed against St. Petersburg police officers. The CPRC role is to determine whether Police Department policies and procedures were followed by the accused police officer and the investigating police officers. These cases represent administrative investigations and are not criminal in nature.

Community Planning & Preservation Commission - one vacancy. The Community Planning and Preservation Commission (CPPC) makes decisions relating to the City's comprehensive plan, including land use and zoning maps, and historic preservation. The Commission is comprised of citizen volunteers, some of whom are required to have experience in the fields of architectural design, architectural history, land use planning, land use law, construction, and real estate. All are encouraged to apply.
