Generations of lives changed, one incredible legacy... On September 16, 2026, Parc Center for Disabilities joined City of St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch for a ribbon-cutting recognizing Parc as a 2026 Legacy Business representing District 1.
For more than 70 years, Parc has grown alongside the City of St. Petersburg while remaining grounded in a simple belief: people with developmental and intellectual disabilities deserve to be valued and empowered to live life to the fullest.
This recognition attests to the influence of Parc in its community – including its staff and volunteers, donors and community partners – who carry its mission forward, and the thousands of individuals and families who have participated in Parc’s adult and children’s services since its founding in 1953.
