Florida Blue and The Lightning Host “Hockey 101” (Andreychuk and The Chief)
Spend your lunch break with the captain! Florida Blue will host Tampa Bay Lightning alumni for a Hockey 101 session on Wednesday, May 31st from 1PM – 2PM, at the Florida Blue Westshore Center (201 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa). Dave Andreychuk, Lightning captain during the 2004 Stanley Cup Championship, and Bobby “The Chief” Taylor will lead Hockey 101 participants through stories of their professional hockey careers, both of which included Stanley Cup Championships, answer questions, and explain insights of the game. In continuing the Lightning and Florida Blue’s collaborative mission to absolve food insecurity in the Tampa Bay region, guests are encouraged to bring a food item benefitting Feeding Tampa Bay and will receive an additional autographed item for doing so. This all-age appropriate event is free and open to the public.
