B2 Communications welcomes two new members to the team
B2 Communications, one of the leading public relations agencies in west-central Florida, is expanding with two new additions to the team - Chris Brennan and Armando Mayo.
Chris Brennan, operations director, is working to drive internal operations, giving the agency’s leaders more time to work with clients and plan for growth.
Brennan has over nine years of experience in operations roles, starting his career in retail inventory. Before joining B2, he worked as chief operating officer for Tampa-based NPC Creative Services, a public relations agency that helps organizations in the health IT field. In this role, he managed company financials, daily operations and outside vendor relationships.
Brennan has a bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of South Florida.
Armando Mayo joins the B2 team as an account coordinator, after interning with B2 in 2018. He is assisting with media relations, content development and account support for clients such as Metro Development Group, Accusoft and Valley Bank.
Before starting his new position with B2, Mayo was a client specialist for Chirp PR, an Atlanta-based technology-focused public relations agency. He assisted with research, social media and writing. Mayo also has experience with working as a PR contractor for small businesses, as he managed social media accounts, drafted blog posts and managed their digital presence.
Mayo has a bachelor’s in advertising and public relations and a master’s in professional communication from the University of Tampa. He serves as an adjunct professor in the university’s communications department.
