B2 Communications welcomes Rachel Pratt as Public Relations Director

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2022) – B2 Communications has welcomed senior communications professional Rachel Pratt to the team. Pratt is joining the team with more than 15 years of experience in public relations, public affairs, and governmental relations.

Pratt’s experience spans stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, public affairs, and media relations, which will all be beneficial to B2’s clients. This experience will inform the strategic communications plans that Pratt will develop and execute to reach clients’ goals.

“We are excited to have Rachel join our team,” said Missy Hurley, APR, co-founder and principal of B2 Communications. “She brings skills and experience that will be beneficial to meeting our clients’ goals and to growing as a company.”

Based in Tallahassee, Florida, Pratt has worked with several agencies where she has maintained a strong list of clients, including Marriott, Apartments.com, Nestlé, and the League of Women Voters of Florida.

In past positions, Pratt gained an understanding of the legislative process through her work with the Florida League of Cities, Greenberg Traurig, Associated Industries of Florida, and other clients. Through this understanding, Pratt has been able to successfully protect the reputation of her clients while providing positive media coverage for them.

Pratt was recognized by the Florida Public Relations Association's Sunshine District in 2021 for a Black Lives Matter campaign with sustainable company Anact and SurfearNEGRA. Pratt was able to spread positive news stories and profiles highlighting the founders of the companies.
