Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
20–25 Hours Per Week
Pay Range: $15.50 – $17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Position Summary
Homewatch CareGivers is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support the Administrator and office operations. This individual serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
Because this role is consistently interacting with clients, families, and caregivers, it requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism to ensure industry-leading service and satisfaction.
This position is ideal for a semi-retired professional seeking meaningful, part-time work in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
Greet visitors and provide a welcoming, professional office presence
Provide administrative support to the Administrator
Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
Assist with caregiver interviewing and onboarding processes
Support scheduling, documentation, and general office tasks
Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
Help ensure smooth and efficient daily office operations
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Skills & Experience
Proficient PC skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience operating multi-line phone systems preferred
Experience with KanTime software is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear for extended periods
Ability to move freely throughout the facility
Ability to sit and work at a computer for portions of the day
