🏁 5K Run on the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Track

Run or walk the actual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg race course as part of race-week kickoff festivities! This unique 5K gives participants the rare opportunity to “race the track” before the engines fire up for one of Florida’s largest sporting events.

Proceeds benefit the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg, supporting programs that positively impact local youth when they are not in school.

WHERE
Bayshore Drive NE (adjacent to North Straub Park)
Participants enter the race course at Turn 9 on Central Avenue and complete the fully paved 5K on the official Grand Prix track.

After finishing the 5K, participants are encouraged to head over to INDYCAR Party in the Park at North Straub Park (4:00–7:00 PM), featuring race cars up close, driver autographs, entertainment, and recognition of top 5K finishers on the main stage.
