FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay Launches GoldStars Tribute Wall™ to Honor Fallen Heroes TAMPA, FL 5/13/2025 – The Veterans Art Center Tampa Bay (VACTB), celebrating its 12th year of providing alternative art therapies for military, veterans, first responders, and their families through its “Force For Art” mission, is proud to announce the launch of its GoldStars Tribute Wall™. This poignant memorial will honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States military from the beginning of the Gulf War through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. VACTB is seeking community partners and sponsors to support this powerful and lasting tribute. The GoldStars Tribute Wall™ will be highlighted at a special event taking place from October 31st to November 2nd at Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson, 10525 49th St N, Clearwater, FL 33762 The mission of the GoldStars Tribute Wall™ is two-fold: to create a sacred space for remembrance and healing for the families of our fallen heroes, and to educate the general public about the profound sacrifices made to protect our freedoms. This memorial will serve as a constant reminder that freedom is not free, and the names inscribed upon it represent the highest ideals of patriotism and dedication. “This Tribute Wall is more than just a memorial; it’s a testament to the courage and sacrifice of those who gave everything for our country,” said Mack Macksam, Founder of VACTB. “We believe it will provide a place of solace for grieving families and a powerful educational tool for the community.”
