SPYP Community Service - EverForward
Saturday, October 17, 2026 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Join SPYP as we help refresh and beautify one of EverForward's residential group homes for children in foster care. Together, we'll transform the outdoor spaces of an EverForward residential group home through hands-on landscaping and beautification projects that will have an immediate and lasting impact on the children who live there.
What to Bring
This is an outdoor volunteer project, so please come prepared for Florida weather!
✅ Closed-toe shoes (required)
✅ Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty
✅ Water Bottle
✅ Sunscreen
✅ Hat
✅ Work gloves (if you have them)
✅ Insect repellent (recommended)
✅ Positive attitude and willingness to help!
Have Yard Tools? We'd Love the Extra Help!
We have a limited number of landscaping tools available. If you have any yard work supplies you are willing to bring and use during the project, we would greatly appreciate it. Helpful items include:
✅ Work gloves
✅ Hand pruners or garden shears
✅ Shovels and spades
✅ Rakes
✅ Edgers
✅ Wheelbarrows
✅ Loppers for larger branches
✅ Push brooms
Please label any personal tools before arriving so they can be easily identified and returned at the end of the event.
This small gesture helps us maximize the number of volunteers who can participate and allows us to accomplish even more for the children and families served by EverForward. 💚🌱
