Leadership St. Pete Tacky Tourist Rides The Bull

The Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2022 selected the Clam Bayou Marine Education Center located in South St. Petersburg for its class project. The class will enhance the outdoor spaces around the Center to support programming that inspires underserved youth to become active environmental and ocean stewards and foster pathways towards careers in STEM. This includes upgrading the Center’s outdoor spaces to extend teaching and recreational space, transforming the paths throughout the property, and improving the landscaping with native Florida seaside plants to educate youth about coastal ecology.
