International Coastal Cleanup Day

Join us for the 2024 International Coastal Cleanup at Shell Key Preserve, a hidden gem of Florida’s Gulf Coast! On September 21, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, we’ll take a scenic ferry ride from Fort DeSoto Park to this pristine 1,828-acre archipelago. Once on Shell Key, we’ll work together to remove trash and debris from the beaches, helping to protect the delicate ecosystems and ensure this crucial habitat remains a safe haven for wildlife.
