Carla is leading a new initiative at St. Pete Youth Farm that seeks to create a more decentralized model of urban agriculture by distributing 500 mini-gardens and 20,000 seedlings to community members. Carla Bristol is an important emerging food system leader.
The General Membership of BPW/St. Petersburg-Pinellas usually meets once month on the first Thursday. Anyone may attend by simply making a reservation. The cost is $35 for BPW members, $40 for non-BPW members but you can save $5 when you make a reservation, making it $30 for members and $35 for non-BPW members, here in advance by NOON the day before the meeting.
