Join Business and Professional Women of St. Petersburg–Pinellas on Thursday, March 5, 2026 as we welcome David Jolly, a democratic candidate for Governor to BPW/St. Petersburg-Pinellas. After the passing of Congressman Young, David ran for and won his bid for the 13th Congressional seat which he held from 2014 through 2017. David became nationally known for his independent streak, leading The Tampa Bay Times to write, “It’s refreshing to hear someone take on the system.” Upon leaving Congress, another columnist wrote, “Farewell to the one Congressman willing to compromise.” David has spent the last eight years as a political analyst on MSNBC. His work has been featured in Time, USA Today, Roll Call, The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN, NBC, and The Tampa Bay Times.
