Annual Pet Pal Animal Shelter Doggie Reunion

Our Annual Doggie Reunion was dear to our beloved volunteer, Debby Dailey, and we will furever celebrate, reminisce, mingle, play, and get smothered in doggie kisses from our Pet Pal Alumni in her honor and memory. Please join us! We will be on the Dog Beach just after the Dog Park under a tent. We will have water for humans and dogs. Even if you plan to just pop in for a dip and say hello, please be prepared for the weather with sunscreen, a hat, and shoes/flip flops. After you’ve parked your vehicle, keep in mind that the pavement is HOT and our dogs paws are exposed. Act promptly. Look for our Pet Pal banner. Fort De Soto has the only dog park where dogs are allowed on the beach in a designated area. There are also 2 fenced in areas near the beach for large and small dogs with water stations (beach entrance is at the far southwest corner of dog park). The dog park has two showering stations for our doggos after their fun in the sun. Bring your own shampoo. Pet Pal was Debby’s family. Every Saturday Debby came in on her day off and dedicated her time and energy to writing a thank you letter to each and every single donor. She went above and beyond with this “volunteer job” and personalized the envelopes with her handwriting. Debby spent her Holidays with our shelter animals and handmade them dinners. The Pet Pal Doggie Reunion held every year at Fort DeSoto Dog Beach was Debby’s deal. Debby opened up her home to store Puppy Love and raffle basket supplies. The list goes on and on about how amazing Debby was.
