Today most are one missed paycheck away from homelessness, sadly to many have experienced it. The House of Grace was birthed to put a small dent in being a solution for those that qualify. To provide not only shelter but become advocates for those in need of a whole life makeover, it’s time to be a solution to as many problems as possible. The House of Grace Incorporated plans to provide affordable shelter for black women who are experiencing homelessness due to financial difficulties in St. Petersburg, Florida. Specifically, The House of Grace team plans to offer shared boarding rooms that provide safe havens that offer each woman an opportunity to grow overall. In addition to providing a safe haven for them to live comfortably again, the team will also offer life-skill classes and financial literacy seminars to help them prepare for long-term success.
