SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and delivery of the Down Payment Assistance programs and provide support to the Real Estate development projects.  Seeking a highly motivated individual who is very detail oriented, organized and has strong communication skills. Must have an energetic, positive, and professional attitude. Punctuality, accountability, and reliability a must.  


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as the initial contact for down payment assistance inquires
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all housing assistance programs in agency service area
  • Answer basic client questions about the housing programs from industry professionals, (realtors and lenders)
  • Performs intake, eligibility screening, document assembly, financial analysis, and closing coordination for all cases
  • Assists in program marketing and outreach efforts including helping to organize and attend events and meetings, and coordinate all information for social media accounts
  • Maintain all insurance information on agency owned properties in development
  • Maintain all files related to real estate property development
  • Assists with project reporting and documentation for lenders and local government
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least two (2) years full-time or part time, experience in housing and community development, real estate development, or loan operations
  • Familiarity with real estate finance, principles, and practices
  • Strong organizational skills, workflow management, project management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in faced paced environments and multitask
  • Strong customer service skills, and proven ability to work with the public of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the proper handling of sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and focus on details as required by the job
  • Possesses a positive, optimistic, goal-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred.
