DESCRIPTION:Join Stewards of Our Urban Lakes for a cleanup at Meadowlawn Park! Join Stewards of Our Urban Lakes (SOUL) in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB)\, City of St. Petersburg\, and Meadowlawn Neighborhood Association for a rewarding morning of community improvement at Meadowlawn Park! Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with lake debris removal\, neighborhood litter and debris pickup\, invasive vegetation removal\, and native plant installation. Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. *** WHERE TO MEET: Please meet at Meadowlawn Park near the playground area - 73rd Ave N & 14th St N\, St. Petersburg. TIME: Time will vary by date. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat\, sunglasses\, and refillable water bottle. WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves\, trash bags\, pickers\, sunscreen\, bug spray and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available. There are no restrooms available at this site. PARKING: There is no parking lot onsite. Street parking is recommended.
