What does a city built for people look like?
Safer streets. More ways to get around. What'\;s missing here and how do we build a city that works for everyone?
Join us for an exciting community dialogue with podcast hosts Sarah Goodyear and Doug Gordon\, $15 advance/ $20 at door. They are touring the world sharing their new book \;Life After Cars and are making two stops in Tampa Bay: Monday night in St Pete and Tuesday night in Tampa.
Life After Cars explores the high cost that car culture and moto-normativity have had on our communities and what actionable solutions we can work on to make our cities safer for all types of road users. The book has a positive outlook on the future\, and invites the reader to imagine a world where the car doesn&rsquo\;t dominate our lives.
Joining the conversation October 12 at Bayboro Brewing: Richie Floyd\, St. Petersburg City Councilmember\, along with Tara Lynn Hubbard\, local transportation advocate.
Together\, we&rsquo\;ll explore what&rsquo\;s working\, what&rsquo\;s missing\, and what comes next for walking\, biking\, and transit. Bring your curiosity\, your questions\, and a friend&mdash\;your perspective belongs in this conversation.
