SUMMARY:Jungle Lake Restoration with SoUL
DESCRIPTION:Join Stewards of Our Urban Lakes (SOUL) in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB) each month for a rewarding morning of community improvement at Jungle Lake! Throughout the year\, volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with lake debris removal\, invasive vegetation removal\, native plant installation\, and water sample collection. Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. *** WHERE TO MEET: Please meet near the Walter Fuller Dog Park - 7901 30th Ave N. St. Petersburg\, FL 33710 (See map below). TIME: Start time will vary by date. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat\, sunglasses\, and refillable water bottle. WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves\, waders\, trash bags\, pickers\, sunscreen\, bug spray and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available. PARKING: Available in the lots onsite.
