Saturday, August 20, 2022 (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

We are capping off our Bookstore Romance Week in a big way!! Join us on the official Bookstore Romance Day for an all-day lineup of fantastic local romance authors!

Starting at 11am, our host for the day and author of the steamy romance Drive, Tamara Lush will be live on our Instagram every hour with a different local romance author! They will chat about the author's latest work, writing romance, and why we should continue to celebrate the romance genre in our indie bookstores!

Our guest authors include Alexandria Bellefleur, Trish Doller, C. Chilove, and Sheree Greer! All authors will also be available at the store to sign books and chat with readers after their IG live spot!

Tamara Lush is a Rita Award finalist, an Amtrak writing fellow, and a George C. Polk Award–winning journalist. She’s a former journalist who writes contemporary romance set in tropical locations, and she writes mysteries under the name Tara Lush. A fan of vintage pulp-fiction book covers, Sinatra-era jazz, and 1980s fashion, she lives with her husband and two dogs on the Gulf Coast.

Alexandria Bellefleur is a Lambda Literary Award winner and national bestselling author of swoony contemporary romance often featuring loveable grumps and the sunshine characters who bring them to their knees. A Pacific Northwesterner at heart, Alexandria has a weakness for good coffee, Pike IPA, and Voodoo Doughnuts. Her special
skills include finding the best Pad Thai in every city she visits, remembering faces but not names, falling asleep in movie theaters, and keeping cool while reading smutty books in public. She was a 2018 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist. You can find her at www.alexandriabellefleur.com or on Twitter @ambellefleur.

C. Chilove is the past Secretary for Romance Writers of America (RWA) and past President of CIMRWA. She is a southern girl writing sexy, thought-provoking romance that explores the human condition while proving love transcends societal clichés. Her characters are strong, witty, and prove that diversity is beautiful. When she is not writing, she's living out her personal happily-ever-after by rockin’ the stands for her Volleyball star, cheering on her future MLB slugger, or celebrating date night with her hubby.

Trish Doller is a writer, traveler, and dog rescuer, but not necessarily in that order. She is the author of Float Plan, her women's fiction debut, and The Suite Spot. She has also written several YA novels, including the critically acclaimed Something Like Normal. When she's not writing, Trish loves sailing, camping, and avoiding housework. She lives in southwest Florida with an opinionated herding dog and an ex-pirate.

Sheree L. Greer is a text-based artist living in Tampa, Florida. In 2014, she founded Kitchen Table Literary Arts to showcase and support the work of Black women writers and is the author of two novels, Let the Lover Be and A Return to Arms, and the short story collection, Once and Future Lovers. Sheree is a VONA/VOICES alum, Astraea Lesbian Foundation grantee, Yaddo fellow, and Ragdale Fellow. Her essay, "Bars" published in Fourth Genre Magazine, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and notably named in Best American Essays 2019.
