SPYP Volunteer Opportunity with Ecomersion: Coastal Cleanup + Kayak Tour

Join us for a fun, impactful morning giving back to our local waterways!

On Saturday, April 25, volunteers will help clean up South Gandy Beach from 8:30–10:00 AM, followed by a guided kayak paddle from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM at Weedon Island Preserve.

All cleanup supplies and kayak equipment are provided, along with experienced guides for the paddle. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool due to limited parking.

What to bring: water, sunscreen, bug spray, and shoes you’re okay getting wet.

Important: All participants must complete an electronic waiver with Ecomersion in advance (required for kayaking). The waiver will be emailed to you once you register. If you don't receive it, contact Kaleigh Hicks.

This is a great way to make a difference, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with fellow volunteers—no kayaking experience required!
