As the second-oldest leadership program in America and a division of the
St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and its 501(c)(3) Foundation, Leadership St. Pete (LSP) is a dynamic, intensive, interactive, six-month experience designed to promote and enhance community leadership through an in-depth introduction to social, economic, business and political issues in the St. Petersburg area.

LSP class members interact with diverse, high-level community leaders and decision-makers by organizing and attending a series of seminars and retreats in fields ranging from business, government, education, media, social services, criminal justice, diversity, the arts and more. Through these interactions, members learn about their personal leadership styles, nourish their community spirit and gain an invaluable understanding of how our community works.

The bonds forged among the members of each LSP class are deep and long-lasting, offering both personal and professional benefits. Whether you are new to the area or just want to learn more about the important issues facing the community in which you live, LSP is an excellent investment of your time and talents.

Among those leaders you will meet include leaders from all branches of state government during the two-day government seminar in Tallahassee. This is a powerful opportunity to meet face-to-face with the men and women whose decisions affect every aspect of our personal, public and professional lives on a daily basis.
Tuition for the second oldest leadership program in America is $1,950 for Chamber Members and $2,250 for non-members (the $200 credit can be used as a credit towards Chamber membership), all inclusive. The deadline for LSP applications is in October each year. The orientation dinner is in December with seminars running from January through May. Applications will be available starting in August.
